FAQ

What is the penalty for UAE e-invoicing non-compliance?+
Under Cabinet Decision No. 106 of 2025, businesses face AED 100 per invoice or credit note not issued or transmitted on time, capped at AED 5,000 per month, plus AED 1,000 per day for failing to report a system malfunction.
When is my UAE ASP appointment deadline?+
Businesses with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint an FTA-approved ASP by 30 October 2026 and go live by 1 January 2027. All other VAT-registered businesses must appoint an ASP by 31 March 2027 and go live by 1 July 2027.
Does my accounting software generate PINT-AE XML natively?+
No mainstream accounting software — including QuickBooks, Sage, Odoo, Xero, Zoho Books, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 — generates compliant PINT-AE XML natively. A middleware layer like InvoiceUAE is required to enrich invoices with mandatory UAE fields and submit them to an FTA-approved ASP.
Are these tools free to use?+
Yes. All tools on this page — the Readiness Assessment, Penalty Calculator, ASP Deadline Checker, Implementation Timeline Builder, and PINT-AE Field Coverage Checker — are free, run entirely in your browser, and require no account or sign-up.
