InvoiceUAE is built by Infotree Computers LLC, a Dubai-based technology firm that has been implementing QuickBooks, Sage 50, Sage 300, Zoho One and Zoho Books for UAE and GCC businesses for 14 years. Infotree is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Authorized Zoho Partner, Authorized Sage Partner, and holds Odoo Gold Partner status through an affiliate partnership. InvoiceUAE's ASP partner is TaxStar (FTA-approved).
Short answer: almost certainly yes, eventually. UAE e-invoicing applies to virtually every VAT-registered business — the only real question is which phase you're in and when your deadline lands. Free zone businesses are generally in scope too; being in a free zone does not by itself exempt you.
| Phase | Business Criteria | ASP Appointment Deadline | Mandatory Go-Live Date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pilot Phase | Selected volunteers | N/A | 1 July 2026 |
| Phase 1 | Revenue ≥ AED 50 million | 30 October 2026 (extended from 31 July 2026) | 1 January 2027 |
| Phase 2 | Revenue < AED 50 million | 31 March 2027 | 1 July 2027 |
| B2G | All government entities | 31 March 2027 | 1 October 2027 |
Your phase is set by annual taxable turnover, not by which accounting software you use or whether you're VAT-registered. See the full mandate guide for scope and exemption detail.
Under Cabinet Decision No. 106 of 2025, missing your go-live date triggers real, continuous fines — not a one-time penalty. The headline figure: AED 5,000 per month, uncapped, for not having an ASP appointed or the system active.
UAE e-invoices can't be emailed PDFs — they must be structured XML in a format called PINT-AE (Peppol International Invoice — UAE), transmitted through the Peppol network's 5-corner model.
Every UAE e-invoice must pass through an FTA-approved Accredited Service Provider (ASP). You choose your own ASP and keep your existing accounting software — InvoiceUAE works with any FTA-approved ASP, including TaxStar.
Deadlines and format requirements are the same for every platform — how you connect your software to an ASP is what differs. Find your platform below.
Unlike a static resource list, InvoiceUAE's toolkit gives you working tools, not just articles — check your own numbers instantly.

Request a Free GAP Analysis →Yes, for virtually every VAT-registered business, on a phased timeline. Phase 1 (revenue AED 50 million or more) must appoint an ASP by 30 October 2026 and go live by 1 January 2027. Phase 2 (everyone else) must appoint an ASP by 31 March 2027 and go live by 1 July 2027. B2C-only transactions are currently excluded.
Any Accredited Service Provider (ASP) on the Ministry of Finance's official pre-approved list is eligible — examples include TaxStar, ClearTax, Pagero, and Deloitte's ASP offering. The right one depends on your accounting software, invoice volume, and budget; see our ASP comparison guide for a full breakdown.
You don't generate a UAE e-invoice by hand — it must be structured PINT-AE XML transmitted through an ASP via the Peppol network, not a PDF. In practice: your accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, Xero, Odoo, Sage, Dynamics 365) creates the invoice, a middleware like InvoiceUAE enriches it with UAE-specific fields and converts it to PINT-AE XML, and your ASP transmits it to the buyer's ASP and the FTA simultaneously.
Yes. The UAE's e-invoicing mandate runs on a Decentralized CTC (5-corner) model built on the international Peppol network, using a UAE-specific invoice format called PINT-AE (Peppol International Invoice — UAE), based on UBL 2.1. See our 5-corner model explainer for the full picture.
